I'm working on an older system and after installing Windows XP Pro, service pack 3, I try to install the AC97 driver for audio and it doesn't install. Tried the Soundmax driver too from the Asus site and that doesn't install either. The specs are a Pentium 4-2Ghz processor, an Asus P4S800D-X motherboard, 768MB DDR RAM with a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 AGP video card. I can install all the other drivers except for the audio. Any suggestions?
